Troubleshoot audio issues

What to do if you can't hear the operator or they can't hear you.

Two-way voice allows the operator to speak with you through the device during an alert. If audio is unclear, try these steps.

If you can't hear the operator

  • Hold the device closer to your ear.
  • Move to a quieter area if possible.
  • Ensure the device is charged (low battery can affect performance).

If the operator can't hear you

  • Speak clearly toward the device microphone area.
  • Hold the device in front of you (not under clothing).
  • Try again from a location with stronger cellular signal.
