Charging Cradle

  • How do I know the charging cradle is receiving power?
    The charging cradle has a red light at the back. When the cradle is plugged in and receiving power, this light will be on.

  • Does it matter which direction the Holo Pendant is placed in the charging cradle?
    Yes, the device needs to be placed with the speaker above the button. If placed incorrectly, it will not charge.

  • How do I know if the Holo Pendant is charging?
    When charging, the call button on the Holo Pendant flashes red. It will also say "Charging" when placed in the cradle.

  • How do I know when the Holo Pendant is fully charged?
    The call button will be solid red when the Holo Pendant is fully charged.


Lanyard and Belt Clip

  • How do I replace the lanyard with the belt clip?
    To replace the lanyard, twist and pull the silver clip to remove it from the device. Then, press the belt clip onto the back of the Holo Pendant until it clicks.

Fall Detection

  • How can I test fall detection?
    Attach the lanyard and hold the device at chest level. Toss the device 3 feet in front of you onto a thick carpet or rubber mat.

  • How should the device be worn to accurately detect falls?
    For the best results, wear the Holo Pendant outside your clothing on your chest using the included lanyard.


Maintaining the Holo Pendant

  • How often should I clean my Holo Pendant?
    We recommend cleaning it weekly to ensure proper charging. Use a soft cloth (like an eyeglass cleaning cloth) to gently wipe the gold contacts on the device and charging cradle. You can also spray a household cleaner onto the cloth (but not directly on the device or cradle) to remove dirt and debris.

  • How often should I test my Holo Pendant?
    We recommend testing it weekly. To test, press and hold the call button for about 3 seconds until the light turns blue, then release the button. You’ll hear a voice message followed by tones or ringing, and a specialist will answer. Tell them you're testing the device.

    Press and hold the call button for about 3 seconds until the light turns blue, then release it. You’ll hear a voice message and ringing. A specialist will answer and can send emergency personnel or contact a loved one for you.

Troubleshooting

  • Why does my Holo Pendant light look pink sometimes?
    When the red and blue lights flash together, the light can appear pink. This is normal.

  • What should I do if my Holo Pendant doesn’t connect properly?
    Contact your dealer right away if you're having trouble connecting to the monitoring center.

    Volume can be adjusted through the device's settings. Contact your dealer for assistance in adjusting the volume to your preference.
