Back
• Reset button: A small button used to restart the device if it becomes unresponsive.
Comfort and wearability
• Holo Pro weighs about 1.3 ounces, making it comfortable to wear throughout the day.
Coverage
• Holo Pro works anywhere in Canada with wireless coverage. No landline or base station is needed.
Charging Your Holo Pro
A full charge takes about 3 hours.
What you’ll need
• Your Holo Pro
• Charging cradle + power cord
• A wall outlet
Step-by-step
-
Plug the charging cradle into a wall outlet.
-
Place your Holo Pro on the cradle.
-
Look for the red light flashing every 5 seconds. This means it’s charging.
-
Wait for the red light to stay solid. Your device is fully charged.
Daily charging tip
• Charge your Holo Pro every night while you sleep so it’s ready when you need it most.
Battery life
• A full charge lasts about 2–3 days with normal use, or up to 6 days with light use.
• Your device will tell you when the battery is low.
Wearing Your Device
Putting it on takes about 1 minute.
Wearing it around your neck (recommended)
-
Attach the lanyard to your Holo Pro if it isn’t already connected.
-
Place the lanyard over your head.
-
Let the pendant rest on your chest.
Why this matters for fall detection
• Wearing Holo Pro as a pendant (on your chest) is the best position for accurate fall detection.
Using the belt clip (optional)
If you prefer not to wear it around your neck, you can use a belt clip instead.
-
Twist and pull the silver clip to remove the lanyard.
-
Attach the belt clip to the back of your device until it clicks.
-
Clip it to your belt or waistband.
Important note
• Fall detection works best when worn as a pendant. It may be less accurate when clipped to a belt.
Calling for Help (Most Important Feature)
How to call for help
-
Press and hold the Help button for 3 seconds.
-
Watch for the blue light (your call is connecting).
-
Wait for an operator to answer (this may take up to 60 seconds).
-
Speak normally—your operator can hear you clearly through the device.
What happens next
• The operator will stay on the line with you and send help if needed, based on your situation.
Monitoring language
• Monitoring is available in English only.
If you press the button by accident
• Let the call connect and tell the operator it was accidental. They’ll be happy to confirm you’re safe.
Understanding the Lights
The lights on Holo Pro help you understand what the device is doing.
Red light
• Flashing every 5 seconds (on the cradle): Device is charging.
• Solid (on the cradle): Fully charged.
• Flashing every 26 seconds (off the cradle): Battery is low—time to charge.
Blue light
• Solid blue: You are on a call with an operator.
• Flashing every 26 seconds: Your device has good charge and is connected—everything is working.
Fall Detection
Fall detection is always included with Holo Pro.
How fall detection works
Holo Pro can detect many types of falls. When it senses a fall, it will automatically alert monitoring. If you’re okay, you can cancel the alert.
If you fall
-
Your device detects the fall and alerts you.
-
If you’re okay, press the Help button to cancel.
-
If you don’t cancel, the device calls an operator automatically.
Important reassurance
• Fall detection is helpful, but no device can detect every fall. If you fall and need help, always press the Help button yourself if you can.
Best practice
• For the most accurate fall detection, wear Holo Pro around your neck as a pendant.
Testing Your Device (Weekly)
Testing takes about 2 minutes. Do this once a week.
Why testing matters
• Testing confirms your device is working and keeps you comfortable using it.
How to test
-
Press and hold the Help button for 3 seconds.
-
Wait for the operator to answer.
-
Tell them you are testing your device.
The operator will confirm everything is working and wish you well.
Tip for consistency
• Choose a regular day each week (example: Sunday morning) so it’s easy to remember.
The Caregiver App (Optional Feature)
The Caregiver App is an optional paid feature for family members and caregivers.
What the app does
The app helps family members stay connected and informed. It’s available for iPhone and Android.
Caregiver App features
• View your location in real time
• Receive alerts for falls, button presses, low battery, and power off
• Track daily steps and set goals
• Ring the device to help find it
To add the Caregiver App to your service, contact us.
Care and Cleaning
A little care helps your device work reliably for years.
Daily care
• Wear your Holo Pro as much as possible.
• Charge it every night while you sleep.
Cleaning (once a week)
• Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth.
• Pay special attention to the gold contacts on the back (these connect to the charger).
• Do not spray water or cleaning products directly on the device.
Water safety
• Shower-safe: Yes (handwashing and showering are okay).
• Not for full submersion: Do not wear it swimming or in a bath.
• If it gets very wet, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Pacemaker and medical implants
• Holo Pro contains a small magnet. If you have a pacemaker or other medical implant, talk to your doctor before using this device.
