In-Depth Holo Active User Guide
Getting started, daily use, safety notes, and troubleshooting
Overview
Holo Active is a smartwatch-style medical alert device that helps you call for help in an emergency and track everyday wellness like heart rate and steps. It looks like a regular smartwatch, with a colour touchscreen and a single side button called the Home Button.
Set aside 15–20 minutes for your first setup. After that, daily use is simple: wear it daily, charge it nightly, and test it once a month.

Press and hold the Home Button until you hear the emergency alert.
-
The screen will show “HELP” with a countdown.
-
Wait for an operator to answer.
-
Speak towards the watch face—the operator can hear you clearly.

• The operator will stay on the line with you and send help if needed.
Monitoring language
• Monitoring is available in English only.
Cancelling an accidental call
If you pressed the button by mistake:
• Tap the X on the screen before the countdown reaches zero to cancel.
If the call has already connected:
• Tell the operator it was accidental—they’ll be happy to confirm you’re safe.
Using the Health Features
Holo Active includes wellness tools to help you track day-to-day health habits.
Checking your heart rate
-
Swipe right until you see the heart icon.
-
Tap the screen.
-
Hold still while the watch measures your heart rate.
Important note about heart rate
• Heart rate readings are for general information only. Holo Active is not a medical device and should not replace advice from your doctor.

Tap to view your daily step count.
• The step count resets each day.
Checking the weather
-

Fall Detection (Optional Feature)
Fall detection is optional and can be turned on by your dealer.
How fall detection works
If the watch senses a fall, it will alert you and give you about 12 seconds to cancel if you’re okay.
If you fall
-
Your watch will vibrate and show an alert on the screen.
-
If you’re okay, tap the X to cancel.
-
If you don’t cancel, the watch calls an operator automatically.
Important reassurance
• Fall detection is helpful, but no device can detect every fall. If you fall and need help, always press and hold the Home Button yourself if you can.
Vibration alerts
Your watch uses vibration to get your attention, which can be helpful if you have difficulty hearing. It vibrates for:
• Emergency alerts
• Fall detection alerts
• Low battery warnings
Testing Your Watch (Monthly)
Testing takes about 2 minutes. Do this once a month.
Why testing matters
• Testing confirms your watch is working and helps you stay comfortable using it in an emergency.
How to test
-
Press and hold the Home Button until you hear the emergency alert.
-
Wait for an operator to answer.
-
Tell them you are testing your watch.
The operator will confirm everything is working and wish you well.
Tip for consistency
• Pick the same day each month (example: the first Sunday) so it’s easy to remember.
Care and Cleaning
A little care helps your watch work reliably for years.
Daily care
• Wear your Holo Active every day.
• Charge it every night while you sleep.
Important note
• We recommend keeping your watch on and charged for your safety. Only turn it off if necessary.
Cleaning
• Wipe your watch with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not spray water or cleaning products directly on it.
Water safety
• Water-resistant: OK for handwashing, watering plants, and showering.
• Not for full submersion: Do not wear it swimming or in a bath.
Pacemaker and medical implants
• Holo Active contains small magnets. If you have a pacemaker or other medical implant, talk to your doctor before using this watch.
