How the Holo Pendant Helps Locate You
- Cellular Triangulation: If you're at home, our specialists can use cellular triangulation to quickly locate you and get help to your door faster.
- WiFi Location Technology: The Holo Pendant can detect nearby WiFi hotspots to help us locate you, even if you're inside a building or somewhere with poor GPS signal.
- Advanced GPS Technology (A-GPS): With A-GPS, the Holo Pendant uses both satellites and cell towers to find your location quickly and accurately—even in areas where regular GPS might struggle, like in cities or indoors. It also saves battery life, so your device can last longer between charges.
Fall Detection for Extra Peace of Mind
Worried about falling? The Holo Pendant comes with optional fall detection. If a fall is detected, the device will immediately start a recording and let you know by saying, "Fall Detected. Hold SOS button to cancel." You’ll have 12 seconds to cancel the alarm if it was a false alert. If not, the device will send an alert to our monitoring center, and we’ll send help right away.
Our advanced fall detection technology has been extensively tested to make sure it detects real falls and avoids false alarms. However, if you need help, always press the button to be sure.
Tested for Real-Life Situations
Our fall detection system has been tested in many real-life scenarios, including:
- Falling forward or backward, with bent or unbent knees
- Falling up or down stairs
- Falls from heights
We’ve also tested the device to avoid false alarms during everyday activities like:
- Walking up and down stairs
- Driving over bumps in the road
- Opening doors
To get the best fall detection results, we recommend wearing the Holo Pendant on your chest with the included lanyard.

The fall detection feature is optional. If you don’t want it, you can choose to turn it off. If you change your mind later, you can turn it back on anytime.
