How coverage works and what can affect connectivity.

Holo Alert works Canada-wide anywhere cellular service is available. Your device uses cellular to connect to the monitoring centre.

How coverage works

• Your device needs a cellular signal to place an alert and connect you to the monitoring centre.

• If there’s no cellular service in a location, the device won’t be able to connect from that spot.

What can affect coverage

Remote areas without cellular service.

• Locations where signal is weak, for example:
• Basements
• Concrete or steel buildings
• Some rural areas

Temporary network issues beyond anyone’s control.

What you can do

• If you spend time in areas with weaker signal (like a basement), consider doing a quick test from the spots you’re in most often.

• If you travel within Canada, remember that coverage can vary by region depending on cellular service.
