Accidental alerts and false alarms

What to do if you pressed the button by mistake or fall detection triggers unexpectedly.

Accidental alerts happen. The monitoring centre will treat every alert seriously until they confirm you're okay.

If you triggered an alert by mistake

  • Stay calm and speak with the operator.
  • Tell them it was accidental and confirm you're okay.
  • Do not hang up unless the operator confirms it's resolved.

Reducing accidental alerts

  • Wear the device securely and comfortably.
  • Avoid placing it where it can be pressed unintentionally.
  • Keep up with regular charging so prompts and audio stay clear.
